There are two ways to experience Bloom:
In-Person: The Portland celebration will be held at The Redd on Salmon Street (831 SE Salmon St, Portland, OR). Together we’ll enjoy a welcome reception with food and drinks before we are seated for a storytelling program, with time afterward for connecting with each other. Free to attend! RSVP required, first come first served.
Online: RSVP to tune in for free. We’ll start a pre-show at 6PM, followed by a live broadcast of the event starting at 6:30PM (PT).
What is Bloom About?
Bloom is no typical gala. Bloom is more. Bloom is a free, interactive evening of action and gratitude for our movement to end hunger. You—along with hundreds of other donors, partners, and supporters—will hear Oregon Food Bank's new president, Andrea Williams, on her vision for the future, as well as several key partners and the initiatives we're working on. Beyond this, Bloom is an immersive experience that we hope will show deep appreciation for our community of supporters, celebration of our progress, while moving collectively toward that future free from hunger.
Together, in 2024, we: increased access to fresh fruits and vegetables for communities facing hunger; provided startup funding for native and BIPOC growers, strengthening Oregon's economy and building new generations of wealth rooted in land and food sovereignty; And we won key policy victories, like free school meals, to change the local landscape on childhood hunger.
We have a lot to celebrate and an expansive community to thank – including you!
